Our Care Assessor / Verifier Julie Easton assesses candidates through their SVQ level’s 6 and 7 as well as verifying portfolios for other Assessors in order for candidates to complete their SVQ.
She said “I have previously worked in home care which allowed me to gain my SVQ 3. After completing this I was then given the opportunity to complete my Assessors award. After completing this award, I then moved from working in care to assessing candidates through their qualifications. Whilst working at RT I have been given the opportunity to complete my verifiers award and also my PDA in medication.”
Julie is married with 2 boys and also has her beloved dog Teddy. She is a keen baker and regularly brings cakes into the office, her chocolate truffles are a firm favourite. Julie also enjoys holidays and weekends away in her caravan.
Our SSHC & SS CYP Assessor/Verifier Joanne Cowe has worked for 16 years in the care sector both in Adult and Children’s learning disability services. She has worked as a support worker and also as a manager.
She said “I deliver SVQ level 6, 7 and 9 in Social Services and Health Care and Social Services Children & Young People. I also deliver PDA qualifications and training in Safe Medication Administration.”
Joanne is married with two children and two dogs. In her spare time she enjoys cooking with her daughters, often coming up with new recipes for the rest of the staff to enjoy. She also spends time walking the dogs, gardening, listening to music and watching movies. Joanne is also a keen DIY enthusiast and recently renovated a cottage for use as a holiday home.
Agnes has been involved in the care sector for 40yrs, initially as a care worker/senior working with older people both in a home care setting and in day care and then as an Assessor/Verifier. She has been qualified in both areas collectively for over 25years.
She said, “I have been employed with RT Resources for just over 2 years and Assess Social Services and Health Care Adults level SCQF6 and SCQF7. I mainly support Modern Apprenticeship candidates but also support Commercial candidates.”
Agnes is married with 2 sons, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren (plus one on the way). She doesn’t have any pets but has 3 grand dogs and 1 cat and spends as much time with all of them when she can.
In her spare time she loves dancing and takes Latin dance lessons, she likes to keep relatively healthy and tries to keep up with exercise classes when she can such as Zumba and Metafit. She also like walking and travelling. Paris is her favourite place to visit, and she loves a good meal and a glass of wine.
