The SVQ in Construction Site Supervision (Level 3) is ideal for employees that are supervising within construction sites or programmes.
Employees need to be site based and responsible for other staff. They should also be in charge of health and safety, plant, machinery, quality and costs among other things. Also, they should be fairly experienced and responsible for making decisions about the sites they are supervising.
Construction Site Management (Level 4) is for senior members of staff. They should have experience in project planning, as well as allocating and checking work, controlling progress and costs, establishing and monitoring communication systems, organising supplies, and plant and equipment.
Completion of either of these qualifications will allow them to apply for the Gold Supervisory CSCS card on completion of the relevant Health & Safety Test.
