Our commitment to the Young Persons Guarantee

RT Resources are proud to commit to the Young Person’s Guarantee and join employers across Scotland in creating opportunities for young people.

YPG is a joint commitment to provide opportunities for all 16-24 year olds in Scotland through jobs, apprenticeships, further and higher education, training programmes and volunteering. We provide opportunities for young people through delivering Modern Apprenticeships in a variety of Employers within various sectors.

Chelsea Miller, Age 17 and working at Buckreddan Care Centre has just recently completed her Modern Apprenticeship in Health & Social Care. She said;

Chelsea Miller

I left school age 16 because it wasn’t for me, nothing interested me to stick in at it, I prefer more practical things.  I decided to do Health and Social Care because I like helping and looking after people that can’t help themselves. It’s a very rewarding job and I love it!

I enjoyed doing my apprenticeship, I learned so much information that is handy for this job.  I am hoping that I will be able to do my SVQ Level 3 and I am also planning to apply to college to do nursing in the future.”
