Production and Processing Skills (Food) (Levels 2 & 3)

The Production and Processing Skills Level 2 & 3 qualifications are aimed at operators working in a variety of food manufacturing and processing environments.

The qualification covers a wide range of disciplines including food safety in manufacture,  operating equipment, quality, packing and processing and can be adapted to suit most, if not all food manufacturing operations.

The qualification is delivered in the workplace through observation of practical skills and understanding of knowledge and industry requirements.

Level 2 qualifications are suited to junior roles and Level 3 qualifications are for those working in a more supervisory capacity.
