The Manufacturing Textile Products Level 2 SVQ is a qualification which encompasses a number of disciplines and skills used in the textiles industry. Units include Health & Safety, Contributing to achieving product quality, maintaining and improving your work, preparing for textile operations and a number of specific tasks such as weaving, finishing, textile testing and manufacture of needle punched non-woven materials.
Five units are required to complete the Level 2 SVQ and candidates can progress to a Level 3 SVQ if and when appropriate.
