Management Qualifications
SVQ’s in Management are available at Levels 3, 4 and 5 and are suitable for managers in any organisation.  The wide range of units allows employees to take units relevant to both your organisation and their specific area of management.

In each level, four mandatory units are taken and three optional units, dependant on their job role and interests. 

Mandatory units include;

  • Develop Your Knowledge, Skills and Competence
  • Lead Your Team
  • Manage People‚Äôs Performance at Work
  • Provide Healthy, Safe, Secure and Productive Working Environments

Optional units may include;

  • Mentor Individuals
  • Promote Staff Wellbeing
  • Implement Change

It is possible to customise the optional units to suit the skills required for the job role, for example Financial Management or Human Resource Management.

Level 3 is aimed at those in a supervisory management role. Level 4 is for those in charge of a department or function and Level 5 is for those at senior management/director level.
